This a common trend in the US. Usually the day after the wedding or after the Honeymoon the photographer and Bride get together and do something completely crazy with the wedding dress. It is not only a lot of fun, but can create some great images with a real visual contrast.

These were shot while videoing a shoot for Arron and Sara at Momentz photography: www.momentz.co.nz They are both very talanented, and I have already booked them for my own wedding possibly in 2011.

Amazingly neither of the dress’es were damaged, once washed they look good as new, and I have since re-used one in a recent shoot.

Here from Russia to study English and Business, Valeria is also a fantatic model. She is great fun to work with, as well as being very creative, with her own ideas and concepts that have lead to some great photos. If you get an operunity to work with her I highly recomend it.

So what are the chances of shooting two people named Tarek? Evidently quite high, even if they both spell it differently. This Tarek however is quite a bit younger.

I first had the opertunity to shoot with Anzhelika in 2007, and we have worked together several times since. She is a fantastic model, working with her has taught me far more than I expected. Everytime we work together she manages to surprise me with a new look, and the creativity she brings to shoots truely makes her a muse.

Valeria and her partner Tarik asked me to do a shoot for them before Tarek traveled over seas for a month

The location is Kare Kare beach west of Auckland, and we had a fantastic evening capturing some great moments for both of the to remember each other by.
